I recently took a year off to travel and volunteer, since then, my perspective of the world completely changed and so did I. I feel that I can now adapt to almost any situation, I enjoy meeting new people and am very easy going. As of the skills I developed during my twenty years of life, I can now speak three languages: French, English and Spanish. This summer, I have been certified as a deep scuba diver, that definitely made me more aware of the consequences of pollution on the marine life. I am also trying to avoid cooking with any animal products while keeping my meals tasty at the same time, which makes me try new recipes all the time. Traveling also opened my eyes to different issues. I am very concerned about the life conditions in certain areas of Africa and the power and duty that the media has to make things change. I feel the same about the role of the media towards the Canadian Aboriginal population. I believe that journalists play a key role to influence the public and, therefore, the governments.
On my free time, I either travel, hike a mountain, play soccer, sing, or do all of that!
