I went to my old High School to spend a day talking to secondary four and five students about themselves, and listen. The goal was to engage the students into thinking about what they want to do after High School. College, University, or go work. The reason why I wanted to talk to them is simply, because they are controlled by their teachers and parents. They have schedules from school to follow, and at home, but no time to think of what they want to do or what they really like. I conducted a series of activities for them to work and focus on their skills.

In this article a volunteer by the name Neesha, talks about her experiences as a volunteer teacher in a third world country. She said it would be nice to have some sort of certificate saying that she has volunteered somewhere. She also says, it’s not just about having a certificate, it’s about making young kids smile and making a difference.

Abortion is the right to a woman/ young girl to change something they are not proud of, or something they have been forced into without consent. To show that is can be a health hazard and can endanger the mother to be. Three important dialects to look into are, Women’s Rights, Nursing, and Public health. These three topics tie into the subject of abortion.

The problem with abortion is, people don’t know what to think or do of it. Women are trying to show everyone that they are doing what is best for themselves, as well as for the fetus or unborn child. Whether it be terminating a pregnancy or not. Most women that get abortions are under the age of 25, which is understandable to get an abortion for. click here to learn more facts.

Women all around the world are shamed for having abortions. whether it be because they have been raped, or simply don't want a child. there is an organization named WRRAP (Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project) that encourages women to do what THEY want to do. They are constantly in the need of volunteers as well. Click here if you would like to volunteer and make a difference for one woman, to know she has people encouraging her to do what she thinks is right.

As everyone around the world knows, there are many different views on a variety of subjects. One of the main subjects, is abortion. Not many people talk about abortions, because of the tension it can cause between people. It is definitely a topic that will get many people talking based on their view, their beliefs, their religion, etc. El Salvador and Canada, have completely opposite views about this particular topic, and here is what I think of what they have to say.

In this article, Al Tompkins has interviewed with college journalism students. It is mentioned that everyone sees journalism almost in a bad way, meaning it is going down, less and less people are reading the newspaper and using terms like “ "layoffs," "cutbacks," "buyouts" and "freelance”” when it comes to journalism. It is stated that the students he spoke to were all into journalism because they want to make a difference. All the students want to work for the radio, TV, online, and prints.

In case you missed the big news last month, the giant panda is no longer an endangered species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Populations have improved enough for the endangered species label to be downgraded to “vulnerable”.

When I was a kid I never really had a favourite colour, and I still don't. However I do remember this one time I was in first grade, the teacher had the class do a poll on which colour was better than others. Each child could only vote once.
At that time if I had to choose a colour, I’d say that I preferred blue more than others.
