Hundreds of species go extinct every day, some that we know about and others that we never even discovered in the first place. Many people are willing to support an endangered species however in reality few of those endangered species are getting the support they require. This article discusses the impact the Canadian Government has on helping endangered species and unfortunately it does not look good. Canada has a 2-step process for protecting endangered wildlife.

For decades, Africans fleeing from their war torn countries have resided in many parts  of India.    As I researched further into Africans living in India, I found out about the ongoing issue of racism.  There have been many short films, and news articles showing how badly Africans living in India are treated.  Some Indians have gone as far as harassing, and  assaulting many African students.   Some of these hate crimes even take place during the day when many people are around. No matter where Africans go, they are discriminated against-and it’s sad.

As Americans, we often regard ourselves as leading the charge against the unethical treatment of individuals with regard to gender. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that we are stuck in the dark ages when it comes to the mindless and senseless practice of male circumcision. The doctor is confused by this request, so she asks the parents to explain the problem with his nose.

It is too often that people say things like, “Oh, that’s a man’s job” or “That is a woman’s job”. How did these made up “rules” allow people to become discriminated by gender? Why should anyone limit themselves, their talents or their passions because of societal “gender rules” that have been functioning for years. I know personally what it is like to be harassed by people because of my job and my gender. I work for my father in our family business, which is auto and heavy machinery repairs, which in turn makes me a mechanic.

In the City of Toronto, a new elevated park has been proposed to be built across the railway tracks in the downtown core. With the addition of Rail Deck Park, it would increase the amount of green space in the area, which is lacking compared to other parts of Toronto. According to interviewed citizens living downtown, many agree that a park is much needed in the area. The drawback however is the hefty price tag associated with the development: $1.05 billion dollars (CAD).

Air pollution is one of the world’s largest climate issues, with health issues from it affecting or killing millions each year. Toronto, Canada’s largest city and one of the largest mega-cities in North America has had a terrible history with air pollution, stemming back in the early 1900’s where coal was a prominent energy source.
