Raising a child with special needs is not an easy task. Despite the complexity of the task, parents manage to raise their children with the help of government services. However, due to the recent budget cuts, the only special-needs preschool in  Windsor is forced to cease operations after nearly four decades of service. As reported in the Windsor Star by Craig Pearson on April 5th 2015, the care center was more than a babysitting service for daytime hours. It allowed children to interact with each other in a safe environment and develop creativity.

In March of 2014, the outbreak of the virus, Ebola that came from West Africa, has caused many to worry about their health in the United States, primarily. Not only did Americans worry about their health, they also feared for it. Symptoms include fever, nausea and vomiting, bleeding and bruising, headaches etc., which can result to death if not treated immediately. By informing the public about the symptoms of this deadly disease, journalists caused an outbreak of panic and fear.

As a student in Health Sciences, it is important to recognize the ethical issues that doctors, and health care professionals are faced with in the medical industry. With the increase in development of cancer treatments, many news articles and everyday-bloggers are debating whether or not there is an actual cure for this undying disease. However, if researchers ever do find a cure for cancer, will it even be put out on the market and available to the public?
