The goal of this assignment and research is to provide a general understanding of police brutality in America. The utmost objective of this is to give an intricate view into how the police, over the course of the years managed to acquire such force and authority, how African-Americans have not had their voices heard and are sometimes less likely to speak out due to possible repercussion by the side of police and finally to observe the solutions to a problem currently affecting millions in the United-States.

the goal of my article was to find out the leading causes of the stock market crash, the current state of the economy and how it can be prevented aagain. I began by talking about the deregulation of the market starting in 1980 which facilitated the practices that caused the crash. Then I explained the extreme market competition at the time and the different financial instruments used to increase profit by increasing the risk banks took.

This news article is one that caught my attention because we don’t see that type of news often. The article named “WikiLeaks offers up a $100,000 bounty for the withheld JFK documents” is pretty self-explanatory. WikiLeaks tweeted on October the 27th that they will give a reward of 100,000$ to anyone who releases the John F. Kennedy assassination files from 1963. Donald trump announced in a tweet that he would release the JFK files but only 2800 were released and 300 were kept hidden from the public.

The information I found researching my super post revealed many disturbing situations that are more common than I thought. I didn’t realize that an entire population could lose electricity after a natural disaster. It was also very impressive to see so many people come together to help out people in need. The events described in the super post lead me to search for organizations that deal with the environment and how to protect it because if the population of earth keeps multiplying and consuming at the rate we are, we are doomed for disaster and hurricanes will only grow in strength.

The media seems to have an obsession with hurricanes this year. It might be because of the election of Donald Trump and the divide between people who argue whether these hurricanes are cause by climate change or are simply an anomaly. We have seen strong hurricanes in the past years, especially around this season. But something is changing because the hurricanes seem to be getting increasingly stronger each year.

In the article When Procrastination is Persistent, Pervasive and Pointless written by Linda Sapadin and published in Psychcentral in 2017, it is explained how procrastination can be a burden for some people who overdo it. She explains that in a digital world, it is especially difficult not to give in to procrastination because of all the quick distractions that technology offers us. She adds that some people procrastinate by doing other chores but it might become a problem when it becomes pointless. It is a problem if your procrastination is never ending.

The world has seen since a few months a rising of the military tensions between the United States and North Korea. In fact, after a sixth successful nuclear test including one that caused a 6.3 earthquake on September 3rd, North Korea seems on its way to pursue his dream to possess the nuclear bomb. If we know that the US are not against the idea of a military action, China asked for a pacific dialogue between the two belligerents in a way to solve the conflict without creating a war.

After North Korea tested a Hydrogen bomb on its lands, an emergency UN Security Council was called for the second time this week, the first being after North Korea launched a missile over Japan. The council said that North Korea is “deliberately undermining regional peace and stability.” The US defense secretary, Jim Mattis stated: “We are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said, we have many options to do so.” Meanwhile, Switzerland offers to act as a mediator.
