Who Can We Trust With Technology? Providers or .Consumer?

In this article I will be showing you 2 reviews, one from a peer-reviewed professional in the domain and one from a normal everyday article. And talk about who can be trusted and believed when it comes to technology!

"IPhone 5S Review." TechRadar. N.p., n.d. Web. 06 Nov. 2013.

The normal site determines the facts about the phone. How it can go faster than the leading iPhone. But it also determines that the company also make you buy the phone over nothing. Due to its small details added and camera strengthened by a small amount.  They describe that the little things didn’t change much for them to add the “S” to the name and make it sound like it is a completely new phone but in reality they just added small fixes to the phone to make it seem like its new. They made the screen bigger by a small amount. Slightly faster internet, slightly faster processor and a finger print scanner to unlock the phone. The only thing that’s completely different from the IPhone 5 to the “S” is a fingerprint scanner added to unlock the phone. "The Teardown." N.p., n.d. Web. 06 Nov. 2013

In the article from the professionals they introduce the product as if it was never seen before. Showing the little details and the technology used that is extremely “better” then the leading IPhone5. They try to professionally show that the device is much better than all the rest. By explaining in subtle ways that they have the leading phone. They show how the iPhone 5s is made. The interior and what the small little chips and technology is used for in the iPhone. They also show the differences between the new and old iPhone to prove how they have upgraded and made the leading one better. To understand and better educated yourself about the new leading iPhone 5s don’t hesitate to see the professionals do what they do best. http://web.ebscohost.com/ehost/pdfviewer/pdfviewer?vid=6&sid=f3bb399a-72db-4992-8c0a-0e04144c8a5b%40sessionmgr13&hid=23

In all fairness the both articles were against each other, one was about the people not seeing the difference with the phone and the other proving that they have done a lot on the device to make the phone stronger and better. Who can we trust is the question? The consumer who uses it every day or the person who made it but it also trying to sell it.
