The article entitled, "New Science Is Forecasting the Future in the Changing Climate of Western Canada" was released by the University of Saskatchewan and discusses mainly the effects global warming has had on western Canada. The study anayzed previous severe weather patterns to better predict when subsequent life-threatning weather patterns will reappear.
The article “Climate change ‘impacts women more than men’ by Mary Halton has for purpose to demonstrate how consequences due to global climate change can differ depending on gender. The dominant cause is simply justified as women are the principal caregivers, leading their immune system to be more vulnerable when major changes occur on our ecosystem. The article asserts that 80% of the people affected by climate change are women, not to say that in regions of Africa where there is native groups, women are more at risk as they have a valuable roles within the society.

This news article jumps right to the point when stating in its headline that it will be addressing fake news, regarding a train that hit a garbage truck near Charlottesville, Virginia. A passenger in the garbage truck died. However, just 65 minutes after this article was posted, a fully-fledged conspiracy theory was launched and promoted on twitter. The conspiracy states that the train crash featured republican members of the U.S congress, and it was a false flag orchestrated by the Deep State, in an attempt to avoid the release of FISA abuse.

Throughout the semester, I have been working on recapping news articles that have been talking about natural disasters that have been happening in North America. More specifically, I have been talking about flooding’s in Canada. This research paper will attempt to figure out what can cause these major flooding’s because, in Canada, flooding’s are the number 1 natural disaster and it is needed for us to know what can cause this so we can attempt to find solutions to prevent these from happening.

1. I was unaware that all of this was happening right now, i always thought that the future generations were the ones that would get to experience all of this. The sea level is is increasing at an abnormaly fast rate. The villages near the coast will have to evacuate because of the floodings.
The issue regarding this article is President Trump’s decision to bomb Syria and his sudden change of heart. Once he saw pictures of dead children he says his attitude towards Syria and Assad changed instantly. The media is applauding him for his change of heart, but this article argues that Trump doesn’t truly care. He says he was touched by the children being gassed to death, but still bans them from entering the country. It’s hypocritical.

1) One thing that I did not know about climate change and learned after reviewing the site is that beach erosions associated with the rise in the ocean level are mainly caused by the warming climate. To deal with beach erosion a practice called beach replenishment are often done. Beach replenishment means replacing or adding a large quantity of sands that drifted away. It is done to provide shore protection or erosion control but often does not work because the waves wash it away.
