  1. The article titled “Donald Trump on North Korea: ’All options are on the table’” talks about the various responses from Donald Trump, the United States’ president and Shinzo Abe, The Japanese prime minister, regarding North Korea’s Nuclear Missile test. The missile passed over Japan at 6am and was most likely meant as a way to threaten the U.S. territory of Guam. Donald Trump responded to this drastic action by saying that all “All options are on the table.” Fortunately, the missile launched near Pyongyang, didn’t hit Japan but rather landed 1.180Km east of the Island of Hokkaido.
  2. Donald Trump stated that “This regime has signalled its contempt for its neighbours, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behaviour.” I strongly agree with this statement as this missile launch is a massive disruption to the world’s safety. This situation needs to be resolved immediately as it endangers the safety of countless people. The situation is only aggravated by the fact that the missile could possibly carry a nuclear load. Some actions have already been taken to resolve this issue. Mainly, the UN’s Security Council has passed resolutions that impose sanctions on North Korea, those sanctions include bans on exports on coal, iron, seafood and lead. I believe those resolutions will make the North Korean regime rethink their decisions and possibly calm down the military missile launches, if the situation keeps getting worse, I propose stricter bans or even going to war with the country before anything gets out of control.
