Muslim Association of Canada

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) was created in 1997, though it’s members had been involved before the creation of the non-profit in community services. It serves religious, charitable, social and educational purposes and is present in most of Canada’s mosques. Their website hails their record as a progressive voice for Muslims all across the nation, from coast to coast. They have in recent weeks and months condemned the terrorist attacks in Edmonton and expressed concern for those affected by the flooding in Quebec.

They organise weekend evenings for Muslims to unite as family and friends and are working with the Canadian government to integrate refugees into their community and our society. To volunteer, they ask you to communicate with them at their website. it is very simple.
