Canadian Cancer Society

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) was founded in 1938 though many had been fighting for the organisation’s creation since 1929. Today, the organisation describes itself as a country-wide society with an army of engaged volunteers whose only objective is to aid and find a cure to those suffering from cancer.

They make an overwhelmingly lasting impact on our society by organising fundraisers and  community events. It is seen as one of the most important medical organisations in Canada. If you wish to contact them, here is the link to their information.
